We may never know how much a single choice could be used by God in his much wider work in the world. Such was the case for Jehosheba, the sister Ahaziah — who was almost the last Davidic king. Caught between the evil in her family and the faithfulness of God, her one recorded action preserved the line of David, keeping the light of God’s promise shining through her dark time.
